Visual Arts
The artwork is in a collection titled, “Human” and was created in 2018. In the artwork you can see hands conjoined. The artist uses bright bold strokes in his artwork beautifully. Its dimensions are 180x200 cm.
The final piece included cloud below the letters. Clouds are a symbol that reflect a part of my personality , one that is extremely calm and peaceful. Clouds play a huge aspect in my personal preferences as I like to observe the sky.

The Statement of Inquiry designed for this unit is “Purposeful art can bring about a change in the audience” The statement of inquiry created has a prominent connection with multiple aspects of the unit that are the Key Concept, Related Concept and Global Context.The Key Concept is “Change”.The inquiry statement emphasizes on how art can be technique to bring forth change. As we read the statement, we reflect on how art with a significant purpose as it is a form of personal expression. The way we express ourselves and the opinion of an issue can change the perception of the “Audience”, our related concept for the unit. Art gives us the ability to change a persons perception by expressing our own viewpoint, hence creating a significant “impact”. The Global Context is “Globalisation And Sustainability” and we would be focussing on “Human Impact On The Environment”. The Global Context is the “Purpose” of an art. A purpose allows an artist to produce an exceptional art piece that highlights an issue.
To draft the poem that would be performed, a variety of concepts were utilized. The first one would be poetic principles. There is no rhythmic scheme employed, however, I have added rhyme. An example of this would be the statement, "I open my eyes. Add it to the count, it has been five sleepless nights." This phrase was found at the end of the poem. "Eyes" has a similar sound to "Nights". Rhyme assists in creating a good flow. The similar sounds when spoken in a sentence are nice to hear, and they interconnect the stanza together. The audience's attention can be easily drawn to rhyme and they would be able to understand the poem in a better manner. Now, when I hear the word "Nights", I will think of "Eyes" as well.
Design
The first section I would like to rectify is aesthetics. A primary factor that determines the aesthetic of any product is the chosen color scheme. The target audience, as well as the experts mentioned that they did love the color scheme chosen, however, they believe that the hue is quite light. I was suggested to utilise darker tints that would allow an immediate attraction, especially against a white background. However, they did appreciate how each color connected to the theme "Health" in some manner, for example, blue conveying water. The second factor I would adjust in order to enhance the visual appearance of the application would be the fonts employed. I believed the numerous fonts chosen would be playful and would aid in creating emphasis on "headers'' and significant phrases, which would further assist the user. Regardless, I received feedback stating that a uniform font style would look a bit more attractive, methodical, and professional. The third factor would be visuals.
There were several changes made to the registration page. First I added the “Welcome” label above the name of the application. I wanted the user to feel embraced and appreciated and due to this I added “Welcome” before “Finger Talk” Plus to create a link between these two words, I added “to”. Another change was the logo. I liked how the first logo was appreciative of all cultures but our target market is Indians only. I also wanted a symbol that highlighted the use of fingers. The final change was the description. To use a variety of bright colours, I added a background hue to the text and now the reader’s attention is drawn towards it.
Music
The music composition created for the formative utilizes the key of E minor as well as G major. It consists of various notes along with dynamics but the tempo is maintained throughout and lasts for thirty seconds. In the process of creating the composition, I tried to play along with notes but something seemed quite right therefore I decided to view other famous horror compositions that could inspire or influence me. I referred to the analysis of the three horror movies and decided to view the Jaws theme song. It started with a one-half note and the next bar had only two notes that would be a quarter and crochet. I also decided to start my composition with a note that is a half note, two notes in that are quarter and crochet but all placed differently. In the remaining composition, I build on the music notes.
The speed of the musical composition increases like the dynamics. At the start of the composition, you can see notes such as semibreve that have a longer duration and than move into semi-quavers also known as ixteenth note. Due to the duration of various notes, we come to a conclution if the tempo is increased or decreased.
